Wednesday!

Its Wednesday already?!?! This week is going by fast!
The good news is that there are still 2 more full days of camp!

Monday night, Phantom Ranch was hit by some pretty nasty storms, but everyone stayed safe and the sun was shining on Tuesday morning. Tuesday was a perfect day! The sun was out, it wasn’t too hot, and there was a nice breeze. The campers had a blast playing greasy watermelon at the beach in the morning and then Surge, a slip-n-slide obstacle course, after dinner.

Tuesday’s theme was Teammates. During Morning Focus, small group, and then during evening chapel they talked about the importance of surrounding yourself with wise friends. This is important because the people you choose to be your friends are also the people who are your teammates in life. Your friends are there to help you follow Jesus! They can help encourage you and correct you.

The Triple W girls have also been having a great week! They have horsemanship training every morning and during skill builders time after lunch they have been learning some skills useful to working with horses. Yesterday they learned about horse massage. Today they are going on a field trip to see some dancing horses! They also join the Youngteeners in many of their activities and evening chapel.

Today is a bit cold but the games and activities scheduled won't be affected by cold weather or rain. Keep the campers and staff in your prayers today! Pray that they will all have a lot of energy and continue to enjoy camp and to learn more about Jesus!

Tuesday was perfect for a banana boat and tubing rides!

On Monday night the campers played the camera game. In this game they try to summarize a movie into one picture. The results were very creative!
