Superteen 2013: Update

Yesterday started off special, with extended cabin Devos and a special time set aside for campers to reflect afterwards. God is making His presence known during our Superteen 2013 session. Praise Him! Campers are learning all about this summer's theme of  'guarding your heart', meditating and memorizing verses like Proverbs 4:23 and Psalm 19:14. Let's all pray that the Superteeners would keep His Word hidden in their hearts and bring it home with them on Saturday!

After lunch, the campers had a cabin vs. cabin dodgeball tournament. The competition was fierce, but everyone practiced good sportsmanship and in the end, we all  had a lot of fun! Following dinner, Superteeners split into their 4 teams to go head to head in a game of MEGA ASSAULT! Aside from a few minor injuries, this game was a blast and (from what I could see) all the campers were really getting into it and including everyone! Here are a few pictures:

After the game, campers cleaned up and headed to Chapel. A big thanks to our worship band this week, Pursuit, who have lead Superteens to be courageous and unashamed to praise their Creator!

A delicious pizza snack followed up Chapel. There were no grumbling stomachs during Open Mic night! All the acts were awesome. Some beautiful, some hilarious, others awkward...ALL entertaining! Check out these photos:

Keep praying for the Superteens this week! May not a single camper leave Phantom Ranch with an unchanged heart!
