A Rather Royal Wednesday!

Wednesday was hot and sunny- a big answer to prayer after a somewhat rainy start to our week. Adventurers took most of the day to finish up their Pretty Pretty Princess dresses, which all turned out to be absolutely stunning! The six cabins all received a bag containing a bed sheet and other random dress making materials on Monday night. After choosing a theme, the Adventurers set to work! Each camper played a role in the creation of the Princesses' gowns. Whether it was collecting leaves for Sarah's whimsical nature ensemble, or gluing cotton ball "marshmallows" on Grace's pink duds, the Adventurers were involved every step of the way! The girls came up with some really creative themes (I was so impressed!) Here are some photos from the Grand Entrance.

Cotton Candy Princess

Indian Sun Princess

Delta J Princess of Sisterhood

Pretty Pretty Princess is an awesome way to communicate to our young female campers that we are all Princesses in God's eyes. The event went extremely well, and we only have the Lord to thank for that! Afterwards, there was a "Tea Party" in the dining hall. The girls munched on sweet purple and pink cupcakes, then went to bed with happy tummies!
