All Staff Weekend 2013

All Staff Weekend has finally come to an end. It was spent with much laughter, fellowship, learning, and even a few tears. God truly engaged Himself in our training sessions throughout the past couple of days, making His presence known. Friday night started off with a bang (and lots of games). It was a great opportunity for the counselors to get to know the non-counseling staff in a fun way.

Rock, paper, scissors, SPLITS?

Roy tries once more to teach the staff the Phantom Ranch theme song

After hearing Jeff Lee speak on the subject of becoming missionaries in our own backyards, the staff spread out to pray for one another this Summer. On Saturday morning, PRBC staff made their way up to the Hill Chapel to hear Olen speak on Child Abuse Awareness, along with a few more important topics. The staff was very excited afterwards, when they had some free time to start up a big game of kickball!

On Sunday morning, we held our own mini church service. Dan delivered one of his "mini-sermons" with confidence and ease, speaking on growing in godliness (2 Peter 1:5-7). Sam, David, and Brianna did a great job leading worship this morning. We are so grateful for all the hard work they put in at such late notice.

And so All Staff Weekend came to an end. Thanks so much for reading this blog, and please keep the PRBC Staff in your prayers as Summer has officially started. We will be welcoming our very own campers sooner than later, and appreciate all the prayers and encouragement we can get! God bless you all.
