What Campers are Thinking.

Today, I went around camp with Kara and asked a couple campers some questions:

Who is your favorite horse at the barn?
-"Gunner." -Girl from Winchester

What is your favorite thing to do at the waterfront?
-"I really like going on the mats." -Girl from Texan

What is your favorite thing to get at the Canteen?
-"Tickets for tubing, horse back riding, and banana boating." -Girl from Bronco Buster

What was your favorite part of Pretty, Pretty Princess?
-"Dressing my counselor." -Girl from Circle R

On a scale of 1-10, how much do you like banana boating?
-"10!" - Girl from Bar-M

Than I asked some questions to fellow HSMTers and Staff...

What has been your favorite job so far this week?
-"Dish crew because of the long breaks." -Ashley (HSMT)

How are your campers?
-"A little rowdy at times but generally a good group of boys." -Tim, a Pathfinders counselor.

What are the campers learning this week?
-"They are learning how to stay awake with God more. They are learning long range archery and fire building." -Tim, a Pathfinders counselor.


How cool is this? A girl named Ana in HSMT came all the way to PRBC from Alaska! While she was working at the waterfront today I decided to ask her some questions!

What was your favorite animal at the zoo?
-"Penguins." (In case you didn't know, during HSMT we went on adventure to the zoo in Madison.)

What was the best and worst parts of camping?
-"The worst were the bugs in my tent and the best was jumping of the rocks at Devils Lake."

-"I learned about God Time and how important it is."

Elmbrook Church Middle School "Mosaic" Camp

Elmbrook's middle school group arrived at Phantom Ranch on Sunday evening, praise God! After a good night of sleep, the campers all hurried down to the lake on Monday to take their swim tests so that they can enjoy the rest of the week on the waterfront. Monday was filled with many fun games, and two sessions of chapel. Wednesday, Elmbrook's campers took off for a mini missions trip. We are so excited to have "Mosaic" with us, and are hoping that God continues to move in the lives of these campers in profound ways.

Beating the Heat!

It's been another HOT day today. This morning we had our traditional greasy watermelon competition! I talked to several girls from the cabin, Texan before the competition and asked how their week was going so far. Several of the girls said they really loved tubing and are excited for banana boating. The whole cabin was super excited for the game called Conquest! Youngteen/Triple W Youngteen 2016

Summer is off to a great start with Youngteen and Triple W! Campers are having an amazing week learning and growing in Christ as well as playing games competing to earn the most team points. Teams are made up of two cabins each, one guy cabin and one girl cabin. They create a name and a team cheer. Campers have played a lot of exciting games this summer including Surge and Night Raiders. It has been a blessing to see the support and encouragement campers give each other, even when they're on opposing teams! Triple W-Youngteen has daily morning riding lessons learning how to communicate effectively to the horse they are riding. Their afternoon "skill builder" time they use for working with their Triple W team in creating a drill team routine to show off to their family at the end of the week.
