Wednesday Update!

It's been a fun and exciting day so far, despite the hot weather early this week. The importance of hydration has definitely been emphasized!

Yesterday morning, Roughriders practiced shooting paintball and then played a few games! The Discoverers spent their morning at the waterfront going on banana boat rides, playing volleyball, swimming, and canoeing. Triple W-2 had a riding lesson and then they painted signs for their horse's stalls!

The afternoon was filled with fun activities for all! Discoverers made headbands during their craft time and Roughriders built sand castles at the beach! Triple W-2 played hide-and-go-seek with the horses! Wranglers hid at various locations around camp with horses and the girls got to go find them.

Last night, Roughriders played various games at different stations for the "Dan Mayer Fun Fair." The competed at these stations, received tickets afterward, and were able to bring the tickets to the prize table and cash them in for various prizes ranging from hot wheels cars, or candy, to pillow pets! Afterward, the guys went on a wagon ride and enjoyed roasting s'mores at the fire pit afterward! However, because of the burn ban, we roasted them in a non-traditional way. It was still lots of fun!

The Discoverers played games and had a great chapel service last night. We sang songs like "From the Inside Out." It was so beautiful to see everyone worshiping and declaring to God, "My heart and my soul, Lord I give You control, consume me from the inside out."

Today we have been blessed with cooler weather! It looks to be another great day. Lots of fun games and activities are on the schedule, so I'll post updates later!
