High School Missions Team Trip

This morning the High School Missions Team, also known as HSMT, departed on a two day trip to Devil’s Lake State Park.

Trip guide, Seth Hougas said they will be climbing the East Bluff. In addition to rock climbing and camping, they will have opportunities to swim and hike.

HSMT counselor, Katelyn Olszak said it’s exciting because many of these kids haven’t been rock climbing before and they are really looking forward to this experience. Also, it’s a great opportunity to be out in Creation and see the trip guides do their jobs. “With the rock climbing, swimming, and sleeping in a tent, this is going to be a different environment for learning,” said Katelyn. Counselors will be sharing their testimonies and the kids will be learning to write and share their own testimonies.

First year HSMT member, Ashley said that she’s looking forward to growing and learning a lot from this experience. She said she loves that there are lots of different people from different places but everyone has something in common.

The group will return Wednesday, June 20th. Be praying for the HSMT kids to have a safe and fun time!
