Monday Update
Adventurers, Pathfinders, and Triple-W 1 campers are all here at Phantom Ranch keeping busy and having fun! Camp is off to a great start this week. Monday began with pancakes (some chocolate chip, yum ) and hot weather. It's been humid around camp lately, which the bugs have taken as an invitation to start coming around more often. Don't worry, we are doing our best to keep these kids covered with bug spray!
Before the rain came, Pathfinders strengthened their abilities to work as a team during "Skill Builders" sessions this morning. The boys were given different scenarios, and encouraged to work together to find solutions. Olen also taught orienteering today. After lunch, the campers had a paintball class, and were able to play a round afterwards! In the evening, Pathfinders participated in a cabin vs. cabin dodgeball tournament. When counselors decided to switch things up and try counselors vs. Pathfinders, I joined in the fun! This group of boys is awesome and God has big plans for them this week.

The Adventurers girls are doing well, and were extremely ecstatic to receive their dress materials for Pretty Pretty Princess this evening after having a blast playing an Adventurers Edition of Minute to Win It! These campers also had skill builders this morning. It was a blessing to see them learning, growing, and getting to know some of the other girls who may not be in their own cabins.
Triple W-I campers started off the day by doing some stretching designed specifically for riders, and also used the time to think about God and all the things they are thankful to Him for! This evening, they began choreographing their drill team routine. I'm excited to see what they have planned for us! The girls also had a break around 2:00PM to hop on the banana boat! Praise God!
Prayer for all three camp sessions this week would be greatly appreciated! Keep checking back for updates throughout the week. Before the weekend, all of the photos from the entire week should be available on our SmugMug. To view the page, click here. God bless!
