Friday Update

Friday morning began with belgain waffles and sunshine, praise God! Our Youngteen campers practiced their skits after breakfast, and followed it up by skill builders. Archery has been very popular this year, but I don't think it has anything to do with the Hunger Games. The Youngteeners have also been working hard on their cabin videos the past few days, and everyone is very excited to view them tonight at chapel. On such a hot day, during Camper Choice time, the banana boat was a favorite. I talked with a camper today who told me he can't wait to come back next year and wished he was old enough for Superteen, so that he could come to camp twice this summer!

The Teen Riding Girls have been preparing and perfecting their drill team routine for the horse show tomorrow morning. These campers received a very hands-on lesson on floating today with two veterinarians.  I've never seen a horse sedated, or have its teeth ground down, so it was also an experience for me as I stood by as photographer. Please pray for our Teen Riders as the horse show quickly approaches! I know they're going to do great.

It's been an awesome week here at Phantom Ranch! Please pray for all the campers tonight at chapel, that God would enter their hearts, minds, and spirit according to His will! May He make a lasting impact on their souls that they would take home with them.
