Counselor Training 2013 Update 2

The PRBC counselors had a jam-packed day yesterday, full of more training sessions, group discussions, and a heated game of dodgeball to top it all off. The staff is putting in a lot of hard work, but having a wonderful time in doing so, taking delight in serving the Lord. I continue to thank Him for blessing this camp with such willing workers.

Immediately following breakfast, the counselors broke up into smaller groups to go over the Camper Devotional books. Five days worth of material was covered in just five hours. Now that is dedication. Luke and Jeff did a great job holding group discussions to really get the counselors talking about the significance of developing meaningful relationships with campers. A big thanks to Dan, Katelyn, Jeff, Luke, and Linsi for all your time, effort, thoughts, and encouragement throughout counselor training 2013.

At the end of the day, the up and coming counseling staff was able to take a break from training to have a little fun out on the dodgeball court. It was an intense tournament, full of plenty of dives into the earth and balls flying a little too close to faces for my comfort. Needless to say, I sat out this time. Maybe next time I'll be able to score a spot on the winning team. A big congrats to our Counselor Training 2013 Dodgeball Tournament Champions, the "Fab Five!"

Molly and Tim take their dodgeball seriously.

Thank you so much for your participation in reading this blog and praying for our staff. God bless.
